Spennende tider ja, får se hva JVC drar opp av hatten i år! :) Sony er jo på ballen med ny laser, men da i øvre øvre sjiktet, mellom VW760 og VW5000... Vi får håpe det blir noe litt mer lommebokvennlig fra JVC, men ryktene tilsier jo at det blir 4K på X/RS-serien i år, det som kanskje er litt ekstra spennende nå er om dette vil gjelde hele serien eller kun toppmodellene. ;)

Jeg tipper dette gjelder toppmodellene i x/rs serien, så jeg blir forbauset om de prismessig begynner på under 80K og blir det såpass kostbart så ser jeg ingen grunn til å oppgradere enda for min del.
Spennende blir det uansett om de klarer å holde det høye kontrastnivået til dagens serie.

Bildet ser jo litt likt ut Z1

De kommer med en oppgradering av Z1 så det er nok den vi ser på bildet, den skal lanseres senere og ikke på IFA. Ellers så sier ryktene 4K UHP med den som tar over for X9900/RS640 skal ha 8K e-shift som i mine øyne er helt meningsløst. Det sies også at den rimeligste fortsetter med 1080p/4K e-shift, men dette er kun ubekreftede rykter. Disse modellene skal vistnok lanseres på IFA.

Jeg er jo bannet av JVC Norge så jeg får dessverre ikke lov til å kjøpe noen av disse...:mrgreen:

Trykker du på 'KJØP' knappen på AvShop når de kommer, så går nok det 100% i orden.

Det er vel jeg også ganske sikker på :)

At det blir noe 4K er vel helt sikkert på noen av disse modellene, kanskje også alle. Det som er spennende er om kontrast er som tidligere modeller eller droppet.

Veldig spennende, og ekte 4K på "lavere" modeller er ikke å forakte. Det er nok imidlertid slik, som andre også tror, at vi sannsynligvis kun får ekte 4K-paneler på toppmodellen. Med litt flaks så kanskje vi ser dette på modellen i midten, også? :)

...du har for for øvrig rett i at det ser mistenkelig ut som Z1-chassiet på det teaserbildet Didrik... Hmmm... Hva tror vi kan skje da da? :) Kanskje egen rødlaser (i tillegg til blå for blått + phosphordrevet blått for grønt som før) slik at DCI P3 kan treffes uten 40% tap av lys som på Z1 kanskje? Er vel ikke nødvendigvis så mye mer lys (med unntak da av i DCI P3 modus) den vil levere av den grunn, er vel først når den separate grønnlaseren kommer en kan forvente en skikkelig boost?

Jeg skal selv på CEDIA i år, så får vel prøve å få tatt en kikk mellom slagene (står selv i messesalen med Alcons Audio / DreamScreen).

Er det en dato for når man eventuelt kan finne ut av hva JVC har gjort rundt det vi diskuterer her... (nei tenker ikke på kjøpe knappen til Andreas som kan minne litt om en "when hell freezes over" tidsramme....:mrgreen: )

Litt før IFA slippes nok infoen om X/RS-serien, så om rundt 14 dager, mens info om Z-serien gjerne slippes en ukes tid senere i anledning CEDIA?

btw, min x5000 måler ikke mer en native 14k:1 irl, men ser faktisk svært bra ut likevel, takket kanon-kalibrering fra Didrik.

Er jo samme som Z1 det, måler fra ca 8500:1 - 25.000:1 avhengig av hvor mye en lukker irisen (dvs lav kontrast ved max lys og høy kontrast ved min.)...

Ja, skal absolutt ikke mene at en 8k upscale ikke kan ha en effekt, og har jo sett 8k TVer på messer de siste par årene med helt drøy detaljeringsgrad men disse er jo da foret med native 8k skutt materiale... Oppskalert 4k materiale er jeg litt mer skeptisk til om har noe særlig for seg, men vi får se, vi får se! :) Håpet er jo kanskje at en slik oppskalering kan gi et enda mer filmlike bilde uavhengig av om det nødvendigvis gir noe høyere reell detaljering. Det sies jo at 70mm film kan tilsvare opp til 16k digital......

Blir spennende å se hva de lanserer. For min del må jeg klare meg med min X7500 et par år til. Er uansett superfornøyd med den (rundt 400 timer nå).

Edit: Mulig jeg må redusere det fra 2 til 1 år, men det vil august 2019 vise :) :)
