    Jada. Har nå tatt 17 dager fra jeg bestilte til har de klart å kjøre den ferdig i tullen.:evil:
    Fikk mail fra posten fredag 10.08 om at hvis jeg ikke ordnet papirer på hva jeg hadde kjøpt ble den sendt tilbake. Posten fikk pakken 31.07.
    Hvordan de mente jeg skulle ordne det i en helg, om jeg ikke hadde den på mail vet ikke jeg, men jeg tror de vet hva jeg mener om posten heretter.:twisted:
    Håper den er her før jul da........:???:

    Det er ikke posten sin feil. Det er avsenderen som ikke har klistret på nødvendig merke for verdi og innhold. Da henvender posten seg alltid til kunden om å oppgi dette ved innsending av kvittering.

    Det samme skjedde med meg. Jeg ba Sound of Science ordne opp i dette og gav de kontaktinfo til posten. Det har de ikke klart, og jeg har derfor bedt om tilbakebetaling når pakken gå i rettur til de. Dette er talentløst av avsender i Estland som åpenbart ikke vet hvordan pakker skal sendes til utlandet.

    Kan ikke se for meg at posten trenger 11 dager for å si fra om at det mangler info om pakken. Hadde heldigvis kvittering fra Pontus Randen, så nå er pakken på vei hjem.

    Hello guys,

    I do believe that this is "normal procedure" from the Norwegian Customs. When we ship to Norway we fill in the green customs sticker where we also write the value of the product (what the customer has paid for it). This value is the basis for how much the Norwegian customer has to pay when it comes to Norwegian VAT for it.

    Now, we could be cheating and writing a lower value then what the product is also worth and of course the Norwegian Customs wants to make sure that no one is cheating them out of money so now and then they do these checks: they ask the buyer to prove this by providing them with a receipt. They of course do not ask us for a receipt because then we could of course just lie again. We have shipped quite a few SoundSweepers to Norway and quite frankly we´ve never had this problem before. But sooner or later the Customs of course will want to check those small packages from Estonia a bit closer..

    Now, "Orso" provided me with the contact information to them and he gave me this:

    "Their e-mail is: postfortolling.pgo@posten.no, fax is: +47-23146386 and phone:+47-04004"

    So immediately I emailed them but I did never recieve any answer from them. The phone number seems a bit short so I asked Orso for the rest of the telephone number but never got it.

    I of course do not rule out that we can have made a mistake (we do make mistakes) and I am more then willing to call the Norwegian Customs and ask. But please give me the rest of that telephone number

    I am very sad that all this is happening, no matter if it is our fault or "normal procedure". As I understand it the Norwegian Customs has asked of you to send in a receipt and as a first option I think you should do what they ask - when you purchased the SoundSweeper you got a receipt. Again, I will happily call them and get this confirmed if I can have the full telephone number. The SOFSCI SoundSweeper is a great product and if only you Norwegians could join the EU then there would be no customs... no, just kidding. Don´t. :-D

    The phone number and fax number is correct. You received all the information you needed from the beginning. But for me it's too late anyway. Just the let package be returned in my case.

    If posten Norge is going to check something, they open up the package. I've never heard about them chekcing with the receipt that's given from the seller to the buyer. And with three buyers? I don't think so.
    I've experienced similar before and it was because the sender had not written the value and content. I believe this is the case this time too.
    You probably need to give the Estonians some spanking.

    So you mean that "+47-04004" is the correct telephone number? Sorry, I thought it was incorrect because it is so short but impressive how short numbers you have then! 8) But I emailed them and they never answered me. But I will call them tomorrow and ask what is going on.

    What I mean with checking is that they want to check that the price we have written on the green sticker is the correct price.

    When you pay for the SoundSweeper we give you a price that is without VAT. So basically you get it much cheaper then a customer from Sweden does. But instead you have to pay Norwegian VAT and the value we write on this sticker is the basis for the VAT you need to pay.

    Now, what we could do is cheat. We could make this product even cheaper for you by writing a very low value. How else can the customs check that these small packages from Estonia actually has the right price on them, but to ask the end customer (you) to provide them with a receipt, as proof? And that is what I think they are doing.

    And it is quite difficult for us to send the packages without the sticker - the Estonian Post would not send them without it. But, of course, I do not rule out the possibility of something being wrong.

    I've had packages been checked by customs before, and had to provide receipt etc, so this is nothing new. (Those packages also had correct value provided from the sender. I guess they just do random checks regardless..)
    That said, I did not have to do this with the package you sent (the same day I guess)

    Good to hear. :-D No, I think it is random checks. And all they want is a receipt, that sadly we can not provide them with (since it is not us they are asking it from).

    But I will call this number "+47-04004" tomorrow and ask.

    Snart ventet 3 uker på at posten og tollen gjør seg ferdig med fortollingen... De spurte meg om informasjon om innhold og prisen på sofsci produktet. Merkelig at de gjør det med så mange.

    Dear all,

    We have shipped quite a few products to Norway and never experienced any problems with Customs before. But this time we shipped quite many at the same time and maybe that inflow of small packages from Estonia aroused their suspicions or something.

    I have talked to Norwegian Customs and this is what they said:

    The green customs sticker was not missing and they always open all packages in order to check what is inside. They also said that they also want to see an invoice inside the package, something which we have not had the reason to include before (again, without any problems) but that we will most assuredly include in the future.

    The question why they have "videresendt" the packages to their final destinations after so long time they simply did not answer. The packages to "TG1", "Orso", "dottidott" and "artur79" were all sent from us on the same day. "TG1" apparently recieved his fairly quickly (I hope you are satisfied with the product?), however.

    I have done some tracking on "posten.no" and here is the result:

    Orso: your package reached your closest Post Office the 8/8
    artur79: your package reached your closest Post Office the 15/8
    dottidott: your package reached your closest Post Office the 14/8


    Again, we have done no different this time from what we usually do and the green sticker (with product info and price) has not been missing. However, we will include an invoice inside the package in the future as well, since the Customs said that it is a good idea to do so.

    Package recived, but the problem is the time custom use from package arrives til they send me the notice about invoice missing. It was 11 days and they sent it on friday afternoon. Had 3 days to fix this, before they returned the package. And it was a weekend too.:evil:

    But the calibrator works perfect. Only i need a crash course in use of it:-D
