after checking the forum i understand that center speaker have to fit "perfect" to front..but what about the back speakers?
I got the B&W 686 as front and i don't have the place on the wall & budget to get the "perfect match" of the same series B&W DS3.
so can i use much smaller & cheaper speakers in the back?
which one will you pick?

In general the back speakers does not need to be matched to the front speakers, but this does depend on your personal listening preference. If you really enjoy listening to good music in surround (SACD // DVD-A) you might want to match the speakers. However for most listeners the rear speakers will mostly emit information that is less important than the front speakers like the sounds of a chopper flying overhead. In this case the sound-matching is less important as long as the rear speakers are capable of emitting sounds at a decent volume without sounding distorted. At least that is my opinion in the matter ...
As for recommendations, what are your limits in size and cost?

Allow me to respectfully disagree, Zlatz..
In my opinin, timbrematching and voicing is rather important for the sound to envelop you like the director/mixer intended. Also you need to make sure your rear speakers have the needed dynamic capabilities.
By 'back speaker', do you mean rear surrounds or the 'normal' side surrounds?
