    Tux bygger HTPC og MythTV backend

    Som overskriften sier satser jeg hardt :-)
    Har svidd av masse penger på en 40" Sony flatskjerm med innebygd DVB-C tuner (som er det som er relevant for meg)
    I tillegg har jeg skrudd sammen min første HTPC. Detaljene får komme siden, jeg startet denne tråden i ren frustrasjon over å ikke få Newcs, sasc-ng og en Cardman 3021 med smartkort fra BNTV til å spille på lag installert i boksen min i kjelleren.
    For å få tvkortet til å funke måtte jeg bytte Mandriva 2008.1 med Kubuntu 8.04. Jeg får inn de ukrypterte kanalene, men ikke snakk om at jeg får satt opp software så jeg får sett krypterte kanaler. Sukk... Dette er altså hovedproblemet. Tilsynelatende sviver Newcs rundt, men jeg får ikke koblet på sasc-ng. Utdrag av loggen for sasc-ng:

    Jeg regner med at det er en logisk grunn til at det ikke virker, men ikke snakk om at jeg er i stand til å se hva problemet er...Noen som har vært ute for det samme?

    Nå er det køyetid. Det er strevsomt med digital TV gitt...

    Det så jeg forsåvidt _før_ jeg sov. En del av frustrasjonen er at jeg er _sikker_ på at brukernavn og passord er riktig.... :-(

    NewCS ser ut til å tro at user "dummy" logger seg inn, og ikke "asle".

    Prøv å fjerne user "dummy" fra newcs.xml. Og se hva output du får da.

    Bruk samme port!

    Hei,

    du må bruke samme port i klienten som på serveren. Du setter opp en "socket" på 192.168.0.127:12000, men prøver å kontakte 192.168.0.127 på port 34000. Blir feil det, sjø... Bruk port 12000 eller 34000 i både server og klient :-)

    Godt forsøk, men det gjelder reverse login (hva nå det måtte være).Uansett, jeg prøvde, men ga ikke noe resultat...

    Denne behøves ikke når han bruker kortleser og kortserver.

    Men er du sikker på at kortleseren er installert korrekt?
    Dette ser jo ikke så bra ut:

    Du må installere driver og også PCSC-lite. Dessuten må pcscd startes før Newcs.
    Det finnes et program i PCSC-lite som heter testpcsc. Dette gir ganske grei informasjon om kortleser fungerer eller ikke.

    Eneste forskjell i forhold til mitt oppsett jeg ser er dette i Newcs config:

    Jeg kjører både Newcs og sasc-ng som root, men vet ikke om det gjør noen forskjell.

    jpterj tror jeg har funnet problemet.

    NewCS rejecter useren fordi den ikke har greid å lese inn smartkortet, og er "not-ready". Sikkert pga det med pcsc som jpterj skrev.

    Apropos <reset> står min på normal også (jeg har NT cardman). Men jeg vet ikke om det er riktig eller ikke. Normal er for phoenix og inverse er for smartmouse. sier meg lite.
