    a) I winamp på PCen

    Dear Eirik,

Daniel, here from iTunes. I would like to thank you for your interest in the iTunes Store. I am more than happy to address your concerns.

I'm pleased to let you know that you can transfer any of your iTunes Plus purchases (which are available on the iTunes Store and have a plus sign next to their price) directly to your third-party player, provided your devices support MPEG-4 AAC files (please check the device documentation or manufacturer's website if you are unsure). For more information about iTunes Plus, please visit:

iTunes Store: iTunes Plus Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

If your devices do not support MPEG-4 AAC files, you may convert any of your iTunes Plus purchases to a format your player does support. MP3, for example, is a format that many players support. For information about converting iTunes files to different formats, please see:

iTunes: How to convert a song to a different file format

Please note that the titles on the iTunes Store that are not iTunes Plus are available in our AAC-protected format at 128 kbps. This format is protected and will not be able to be used on any third party device.

Please also know that by April, the vast majority of items on the iTunes Store will be available in the iTunes Plus (DRM Free) format, so you will find that this will suit all of your conversion / device needs.

Thank you for your interest, and I hope to soon see you as an iTunes Store Customer!

    With Warm Regards,

    Daniel
    iTunes Store Customer Support

Please note my hours are Tuesday - Thursday, and Saturday 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time)

Thank you for allowing me the responsibility to assist you.
