Bare for ordens skyld.

SIM2 C3X 1080p kommer i en ny versjon til våren Brighter + 30,000:1 i on/off + nytt navn.

I saw this unit yesterday as well--in fact was there at the same time as Lars and another TI guy were also checking it out.

I was very impressed with the picture--gorgeous, detailed, vibrant. The colors were not over-saturated, though the red was perhaps in need of dialing down. It was interesting that in scenes with people their skin tones were just fine, but the reds seemed a little hot (very little actually). I just don't think I (nor anyone else) is used to seeing 128% NTSC colors! It was really nice.

The caveat to all this is I couldn't tell if they were using a scaler to bump up the image. I hope they were just sending it through "artificial" means to enhance.

Lars asked us what we thought of the color, after we told him and the Chi Lin group about the reports out of IFA of "crazy colors." We talked back and forth about how the colors are surely incredible, but they weren't pushed.

$10k is on the high side. Depending on competition it could be between $8-10k--we pushed one of the Chi Lin people about their 1080p pricing (between $5k-7k) in relation to the LED...

Fun stuff--cool time (if you are in to patience)...

Jason also saw this yesterday and was also very impressed. The image had a very thick look to it as if it was painted on the screen, great colors. Very close to CRT. I wish it were avail today!
