I want to connect my HTPC with DVI output on my Zero-Five projector,
Does anyone yet tried 1:1 pixel mapping with an HTPC, for me it sounds logical to put the HTPC on 1024x576 , or am i wrong ? just curious if people already tried the DVI input from the Zero-Five with a standalone DVI player or HTPC

No problem, the model zero five accepts both 50.00 and 59.94 Hz 1024x576 over DVI. We are normally using an ATI 9800 based card and PowerStrip v 3.41 to verify these settings.

thxs, for the reply
Next week i will try a HTPC with DVI output.
Just wondering if projectiondesign already has tested the new pioneer 668 with HDMI interface together with the Zero-Five, is there some web site where to find these info ?
Btw. This is one of the best projectors i had for the last 5 years !!!
best wishes, and greetings from Holland

I have personally tested the 868AVi with the various Action! models, and we have quite a few customers with these now. They seem to be happy!
The biggest difference you will experience with a DVI equipped DVD-player is a lot less analogue noise, and a myriad of new detail that seems to be retrieved from the DVD (though that is not the case, it is just that it is passed to the display in an unaltered and unfiltered mode).

Hm, guess I should add that the 668AV is very much the same player as the 868, the difference lying in the fact that you cannot control the HDMI output to the same extent as the bigger brother (668 cannot scale to other resolutions than 480p and 576p). The 668 also lacks the video filters of the 868, and has lesser quality electronics, but share the same audio and video boards of its bigger brother.
